Native born Hawaiian, Marc L. Ketcham grew up on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. As a child, Ketcham would watch film constantly because it took him to another world. He was amazed at how a single frame of film could grab your attention. He would later experiment with his own films in Hawaii with a GoPro, where he would capture the beauty that Oahu had offered him.
Ketcham has recently graduated from The New York Film Academy with his Bachelors in Fine Arts, where he found editing and directing is what he wanted to pursue. He now is freelance editing, using his skills and knowledge gained from his education to help others tell their stories.
One day, ketcham wants to use film to educate those who don't know who the Hawaiian people are, their struggles; From the past, present, and future, as well as educate those who know little about the pacific islanders.
